What's this, what's its power-source, who built it and roughly when - for 1 point?:

Built by Ralph Thomson & his son Lee Thompson. Completed in 1955...finished in 1955/1956. Car is called "Marlee" painted in Silver Chrome Lucite. 1500 hrs build time with 800 lbs of plaster to make body shape, then fiberglassed.  1948 Mercury engine, 1946 Ford frame, owner built steering wheel.

It's a fantastic source of info and so many wonderful (almost) unknown cars.
But for someone who knows the source it makes for puzzles that are really too easy..
I have a couple more to post then after that I think I'll desist and look for something a bit harder..!

Takes me about 5 to 7 days...to try & solve most puzzles, anything from forgotten fiberglass...I solve in minutes.
