You're right Bill in that it is the Bison VB-100 built by Batignolles-Chatillon. Hiawatha is also right in that it was designed by Victor Bouffort, under whose licence they were made. It might be the 1955 prototype, I'm not sure, but I believe they were produced from somewhat later than that.
However - neither of you have given me the name that it was sold under, i.e. on whose behalf Batignolles-Chatillon actually made them!
