That´s a Justicialista Special build for the President Juan Domingo Perón, think it was a one off based on the Justicialista Gran Sport

Right so far, but it has a name.  What is that?

cut-down from the "IAME Justicialista Gran Sport"

Honestly, it's not what I have!
I got my information from an Argentinian site so I'm pretty sure it's right.  I tried Google-translating it but it wouldn't translate so it must be just a proper name.
Have another dig into it; the information is easy to find!

well now i found i site that said that this car was based on the v8 chasis, so i would said that the special is a cut down from the IAME Justicialista Gran Sport v8 (diferent from the gran sport), you can also have this cars as "Institec Justicialista Gran Sport V8". I have seen the gran sport v8 in person and i can say it resembles a lot to this special prototype, it´s the model that resembles the most.

Yes, it's based on the V8 chassis (the site said the mere 600cc engine wasn't grand enough for a President so having a V8 engine was essential!) but the name still hasn't appeared.

Maybe it's 'Gran Sport' in Spanish; how does that translate?

this is what i think: in the site you mentioned it says: "And this cut-down one was made specially for el Presidente himself. But this appears to be based on that V8 chassis. A 600cc two-stroke twin wouldn’t do for the jeffe", according to this the car would be based on the model mention above, that is the Gran Sport Coupe from 1955 (the car at the top) which has the v8 engine. But in an other site that is linked there at the beggining, it´s says that the prototype for Perón it´s from 1953 so it can´t be based on a 1955 car. Then there is the Gran Sport V8 from 1953 or 1954 this car has also the V8 engine but is much more similar to the prototype for Perón (justacialista special), if you google it you will see it´s similarities. The prototype for Perón it´s almost the same car with a cut and a touch here and there, other rims and 20 or 30cm more on the back. There can also be a confusion with the dates cause in the site you mentioned it says that the photo with V8 engine mounted over the chassis corresponds to the 1955 Gran Sport Coupe but the rims are from the 1953 or 1954 Gran Sport V8 or maybe they just had the same chassis and engine with two diferent bodyworks.
So summing up i´am almost sure the prototype for Perón it´s based on the Justicialista Gran Sport V8 cause of:
Aesthetic reasons: the similarities are quite obvious (and it´s the model which is more similar)
Engine reasons: they share the V8 engine
Date reasons: the share dates
I also think i broke the record of the longest reply on this site...

So, big celebrations in Argentina today - CrazyAutopuzzler gets a Rookie point!
Oh, and another Argentinian guy has a new job in Rome..

Graciella is what I was looking for, as on the website I got the picture from it said this convertible was a development of others which were roadster versions of the Graciella (albeit this one had the V8 rather than the 600 cc twin, which was considered a bit too puny for El Presidente!) rather than developments of the Gran Sport.

Well done!

I'd like to add some information about this car.
First it's not  Graciela (with one L), because Graciela was the name given to the Sedán Justicialista after 1955 when Perón was deposed. Justicialista is the name of the political party founded by Perón, so the first thing the new government did was vanish that name form absolutely everything and the Sedán Justicialista became the Sedán Graciela. The chassis had two longitudinal side tubes and cross members, the bodies were made of steel, front wheel drive, first with a 2 cylinder two stroke engine and later with a 3 cylinder two stroke engine. See it here: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=8397.msg62022#msg62022

I think CrazyAutopuzzler's 'Institec Justicialsta Gran Sport V8' was correct. Only three cars where made at the Government owned airplane factory IAME with V8 engines, the three cars have already been puzzle cars, the one of this puzzle probably was the first, then the other roadster: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=10808.msg87235#msg87235 and the coupe: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=15697.msg145862#msg145862. These three cars were larger, had a box type chassis, V8 air cooled engine, rear wheel drive and fiberglass bodies, they shared nothing with the Sedán Justicialista.
Here are two more pictures of the car

Nélida Rivas, Perón's teenage lover, Evita's replacement, never admitted officially.

OK, thanks for that.  I'll change the title.
It's nice that someone knows the correct information, as so frequently the info on the Internet is inaccurate..

The image of Peron testing the car is from the movie "Buenos Aires en Relieve" (1954):
