Yes, it's Exner and it's a model.
But of what and where is it?

Found it as an XNR Hardtop clay model. I'm not sure what you mean by 'where' ?

That's the car.
The location of it - where the picture was taken?

I've located the puzzle pic on internet but there is not a place mentioned. So I have to guess the Geneva Motor Show

No; don't forget it's only a model so where is that likely to be?
Also compare the model with the real XNR; what's the difference?

The difference is that it has a roof  ;D ??? The model might be in the Chrysler Design Centre ? Why all these questions as you initially only asked what the car exactly was ? I believe I have answered that

Because where it is in fact is a very crucial part of the "exactly what this is" question..
It's not the Chrysler Design Centre, but to be fair I'll give you one very last chance but if you don't get it right then it will be opened up again.  The 'Chrysler XNR' part of the question is actually very easy and I would expect any AutoPuzzles Expert to get that, so for the point I do want the full answer...

Still not sure what you want to hear. The real XNR was a Plymouth derived convertible, could the clay model by photographed at Ghia ? If wrong open up again please.

There you go - Ghia is what I wanted!
Although designed by Exner for Chrysler the XNR was constructed at Ghia in Italy and this is the early styling model for it, made by Ghia and photographed at their studio.
So Ghia was the crucial part of the question/answer and now it's Solved!
