For the point I need:

What's the base car and from when does it date?
Who did the modifications?
When was this body constructed?
What is the car known as and why?

Started as a 1959 XK 150 FHC.
Bought in 1964 from a Mr. Hull, designed by Douglas Wilson Spratt and built in 1968 by Peels in kingston upon Thames.
Nicknamed 150 S-tate and also Towcar, as the car was fitted with a tow bar to trailer racing cars to meetings. The car was even raced..

That's it, yes, although I had as being built by WSM (which of course stands for Wilson-Spratt Motors) and I hadn't heard of the S-tate nickname!

I just read that WSM actually stands for "Wilson-Spratt-McManus"..!
