The car on which this is based was from the USA, but it's not Buick based.  The body was modified elsewhere.

I believe your vehicle is a 1950 Oldsmobile customized by Spohn of Germany for a James L. Price.

Sorry 'Migo.
Happens to me all the time at level II.

I had 5 in the bank on Friday, by today the Olds was the only one left.

Speaking of Oldsmobiles, Herr Spohn sure could mess up what was originally a really pretty car left mostly stock.

I co-owned one the summer of 1957 when a buddy and I basically camped on the beach for the whole summer in Oceanside, CA.
Lived in the car and ate at the local beach kiosks.  Same car, the 2 door sedan body, black, stock body and motor with Hydramatic.
Fond memories my friend.

Happy New Year
Bill

That's the car Bill; I should add that the base was an Olds 88.
A New Year's point for you!

Hi Norman:

Sorry, I should have added the "88" designation.

May I also say Thank You So Much for your dedication to this Forum.

If I am not mistaken, it is a bit past midnight on New Years Eve where you live.  I can assure you that 6 hours from now, I will not be posting here.

By the Way, the first Fireworks are just now being shot off here.  Sadly, we have a bit of cloud cover so it is not as pretty as it has been some years.  But...........still just as loud.

Happy New Year

Bill

Actually Bill it was 25 minutes to midnight!  I was letting the New Year in with a glass of champagne at midnight like everyone else!

Happy New Year to everyone on the Forum anyway!
