Not Japan, no.
Although I replied 'No' to dzima1985's question in Reply #2 because that's not what this car is now, it would perhaps be fairer to say that is what it started out as before it became what it is now!

Yes, a Factory Five Cobra Daytona Replica body has been used to create something different. Clearly the body is the same, so it must be mechanical..
