My source says it was first shown in 1954, as the Panther Colli. Another Zagato-bodied version followed in 1955, but as far as I know production never started.

A quite strange project : diesel 520 cc engine (an optional gasoline unit was listed), front wheel drive and fiberglass bodywork.
These two last specs were quite unique for an italian car. The Panther is probably the very first plastic bodied car from Italy.

This one is the Panther 400 D.

We had the Zagato-bodied, petrol-engined 400 B (http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=5064.0) and the proposed Pantherbus (http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=19185.0) before.
