The make should be obvious but who was the coachbuilder of this drophead coupe?
One point for the correct answer.

It's a Hispano-Suiza of course but I don't know the model......
The coachbuilder is not Brandone.

I'm sorry I don't have the model or year of this Hispano Suiza DHC.
It's not by Tuscher....

A British coachbuilder?

Well, when you replied that the coachbuilder wasn't Tuscher, you didn't say the coachbuilder wasn't Swiss, so I will take that as an implication that my Swiss hunch might be correct.  Let's try: Hispano Suiza by Langenthal.

Yes it's true I didn't rule out Switzerland as the nationality of the coachbuilder.....
However it's not Swiss, British, French (as already established), Dutch or Belgian.

Just to throw in a few comments.

The photo seems to have been taken at a Concours de Elegance somewhere in the mid 1930's. Note the costume of the lady in the Hispano.

The car on the right to my eyes is a 1935/6 Ford with possibly bodywork by Drauz so the locale at least may be Germany and maybe even the bodywork on the Hispano could be German.

Just moving it along.

Bill
Cheers
Bill

I never heard about this chance...but, is it from Pinin Farina? I remember a 1936 Rolls Royce not so different.

While targhediferro is pursuing Italian coachbuilders, I'll try Spain.  How about: Hispano Suiza by Juan Forcada of Barcelona.

Well I don't know very many Spanish coachbuilders, but I will give it a try with: Hispano Suiza by Baltasar Fiol of Barcelona.
