Solved TGF-13: Rosengart Ariette 1954
« on: January 18, 2013, 06:12:19 AM »
I think this should be easy for an autopuzzler...it's a car of normal serie, not so common but neither so rare...so, please, make, model, year, for a point.

Is this the FSO Syrena prototype 1955?
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

rosengart ariette, but could be the Panhard Dyna Ariette version, built in small numbers when the main factory of Panhard was rebuilt to assemble the Dyna Z and the Dyna X was out of production... difference is underpinnings, engine (rosengart used slooooow prewar engine) and the grile...

She is quite "famous" in Germany. She and her husband moved from Germany to that French scrapyard a few years ago. All of their ebay ads are accompagnied by a picture showing "Goldie", posing in front of the car. For those more interested in the car: it is a Rosengart Ariette LR4S2 from 1952, according to the vendor.

Goldie appears to have about as many miles as the Rosengart...and on bad roads.   ::)
