No - not an Italian chassis and the coachbuilder is not German.

Not a chassis from the USA and the body is not by Tuscher (it's not an obscure make if that helps)

Not by Worblaufen....

If I can just sum up the chassis manufacturer nationality so far -

German
Italian
French
American (USA)
British

The car has some good ID points and I have settled on a 1934 Minerva M-4.

I am lost beyond that point and two hours of searching did not yield a coachbuilder.
If the chassis is correct, let the rest of the family play with the puzzle and I will keep looking as well.
Bill
Cheers

Yes Bill, that's the car - a 1939 Minerva M-4 Cabriolet....
I'll LOCK it for you just until your next answer (within 24 hrs) to give you a chance to name the coachbuilder.

Hi Malcolm:

I am at a dead end, please unlock.
BTW, I am pretty certain the year is 1934, the last year real Minervas were made.

Imperia purchased the company around 1935/36 and I believe either assembled some cars from parts or rebadged their own cars as Minervas for export.
