I would like to know make, model, year, coachbuilder and designer...for a point;  should the right complete answer come from a Rookie, He'll get two.

Pleaseclarify the difference between 'coachbuilder' and 'designer' - do you mean the company and an individual like Touring and Giugaro?  I think of the likes of Pininfarina, Michellotti or Zagato as being both.

Clearly a Pinin Farina design. It is an Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS from 1942, body from 1946 and designed by Fedele Bianco. I must admit I had never heard of this guy before but he knows how to draw cars !

It begs the question "Where did the inspiration for the Jaguar XK120 come from?"  Actually I've always thought the XK120 not a really original design; Lyons was very adept at copying but making his cars a huge success by low pricing.
