Solved! Fishleigh Ford (as rendered from Tuckeroo's memory.)

It's gotten tough to navigate the solved sections and see the accompanying photos, too.  There was a puzzle from the past and it's been driving me crazy as to what it was and where to find it.  So I drew this sketch from memory (please excuse the crudity, I didn't have time to sketch it to scale or to paint it.)  Oh!  It was also a scale model of a design, never a full-scale car as far as I know.  Open to all, a point to the solver and my gratitude as I won't lose sleep over it.

PJ, you're a genius.  What a memory!  I can't even remember what puzzles I've posted, never mind what others have!

His design was quite accurate, some details were revealing and the info he provided did the rest...I recognized it right away.
