Just #8 left, and having revisited this puzzle again, I can't believe I missed this before. I've looked at this kit a number of times, but never managed to match the sprue before, and I convinced myself it wasn't the right one.

But having found some different pictures, it seems that it's Tamiya 1:24 kit 24136, Volkswagen 1300 Beetle, 1966 model.
