Is the British bit the chassis?  A Lanchester?

The British bit is the coach builder.... so not a Lanchester

Blimey - that was quick!

Are the oily bits from Italy?

Body from Barker?

I assume you mean Belna... not a Belna but Abbey is right. Locked for you to give the right model and year (1 guess)

exekiel

a lancia astura 1933 by abbey

mekubb

Not Astura and not 1933, sorry.. unlocked

I have this as a Lancia Augusta from 1935, but with a body by Abbott, not Abbey

Of course is should be Abbott and not Abbey, but I'm sure Exekiel also meant this. Anyway Augusta and 1935 is correct, a point for you.

Actually the correct part of the answer was Belna (that's just an Augusta built under license in France), while Abbey was wrong, as Abbey realized an Augusta coupe' version, that's a different car. ???

mekubb

According to the well-known book La Lancia this car us an Augusta with Abbott body. Why would it be a Belna ?

I'm sorry, I didn't mean It is a Belna instead of an Augusta...but actually Belna and Augusta are the same car;  the only differences consist in the name and the colour of the mud-fenders (black on Augusta and in the same colour of the body on Belna).  When you locked the quiz for Exekiel  I suppose you would have told him to search for the right coachbuilder (as he answered Abbey instead of Abbott) and not to search for the right model (because he got it yet), and I think this could have taken him on the wrong path.  Anyway I may be wrong, of course, and I didn't mean to be unpolite.
