Are you sure the car was made in 1967 (and not 1961)?
And who can confirm me that the engine capacity of this car was only 1000 cc.  I thought max capacity in the CSR class was never limited to 1000 cc. (But I'm not an expert of American Racing)

Is this an American-built car then?

This is all says on the site where I sourced the puzzle picture:

QUOTE
Grady-Alfa
Driven by Ron Hutchinson (FL) in Southeast Div races in 1960's
Traded in late 60's to someone in NC
Currently owned by Barry LeVan (PA)
UNQUOTE

All those locations are in the USA so I assumed this was an American-built car; this was apparently built by Henry Grady after the Begras so 1967 seemed to be about right, but it may not be so I've removed the date from the heading.

Is the name "Alfa" linked to Alfa Romeo? Maybe Alfa engine?

According to a rather well known book Grady built the car in 1961 with a destroked Giulietta engine (1.3 reduced to 1.0)
That particular one- off engine blew up afterwards and was replaced with a VW engine. The car was then resold as a Begras.

That well known book is also my source.
My question remains open "And who can confirm me that the engine capacity of this car was only 1000 cc.  I thought max capacity in the CSR class was never limited to 1000 cc. (But I'm not an expert of American Racing)" + who was responsible  for the the engine rebuild?
