The upright "tab" on the nose suggests this is a hillclimb car. Rear-engined ?

We've all jumped to conclusions because the car is blue and there appears to be a rendition of the French flag on the headrest. Looking carefully with my ancient eyes (cataracts are coming according to my optician ), I think that may be an Italian flag.

Is it from sunny Italy ?

Not French.
Not Italian.
Not German.

It looks like it is based on a much older chassis, because of the ancient design of the wire wheels. British base ?

I can't find anything - you better unlock.

I can't work out the seating position - is that a headrest or the intake for a jet engine or the parachute pack ? Is it a tandem seat car or single seat? It's got me all confused. And why the ancient wheels with no spats for streamlining ? It's almost like they've put a modern body on an old car.
