As I am sure Craig has also, I have about 2 hours in this puzzle, concentrating on French coachbuilders.  I also searched the common German coachbuilders.

May I now ask, is the coachbuilder from a country other than those two??

As there were several Matford models around in 1936, one should add that it is a French-built Alsace V8-66 21 CV coupe. The picture was taken at the 1937 Concours d'Elegance at Deauville.
