I have some new group puzzles queued up, but I really think we need to close these older ones out.

I'm offering twice the regular points for solutions that are posted in this thread before 12:00 AM Monday, Eastern Standard Time.

Clue for #7: There was another brand with a similar name. They once made a car that was a puzzle here before. Both #7 and this other brand were named for a place, but only one was built there. Car #7 had an alliterative name. So did the maker of the other car I'm referencing.

Clue for #9. From a well-know, oft-puzzled and occasionally photo-featured brand. Its name could refer to either an attribute, or a type of energy.

I'd like nothing more than to award some points and close out another old puzzle.  ;)

#7, is it a 1911 Dorris?

I think #9 has already been solved by Wendax, on page 3?

If I read your response to Reply #106 correctly, is it a 1909 Moline?
