the basis car  is a 1939 design, the wagon version is from 1949...

I believe the base vehicle is a 1950 Ford Taunus.
I have not found the coachbuilder, only name so far is Plasswilm.

Hmmm.

Well, I found your photo on a Bückel site but there was no caption.
I have gone through 8 German coachbuilders that are said to have made Kombi bodies and no luck.

Knowing how clever a fellow you are, is the coachbuilder perhaps Austrian and not German?  Just so I don't keep banging my head against a wall.

It´s a very well known german coachbuilder.
So your chances are really good to solve this today  ;)

I am stuck and I have to spend the rest of my day "outloading" our kitchen and pantry so the Contractor can put in new floors and ceilings etc. tomorrow that were ruined when a water pipe burst in a bathroom one floor above and the water came through the ceiling.

After those rooms are done, we have two more very large closets, the bathroom itself and my wife's sewing room that have to be repaired in a similar manner.

Really enjoying my "full retirement" after having sold our business to our Son in December.
