I spent a lot of time on this one..I may be wrong but that's what I think it is.
Event is Mille Miglia 1950, car is a Fiat 750S Turolla (All Fiat 750 were in any case modified 500) driven by brothers Vito and Vittorino Barion (Scuderia S.Giorgio,Ferrara).
They finished the race in 9th position in the 750 Sport class and 95th overall. Engine may have been tuned by Giannini and body made by Morelli.

But it is not the Fiat Turolla ( n° 301 )

Auto Italiana, issue number 9 , May 1950 state the car as a Turolla. They can of course be wrong. Is it maybe a Siata?

There is no picture unfortunately. That's why I said I could be wrong and they could be wrong...

So where do we go from there? Assuming Auto Italiana is wrong, can we also assume the 1948 car and 1950 car is the same slightly modified? Wipers, for example.. Fiat 750S ,Giannini modified engine and Morelli body.

Another view of the 1948 MM car from the "Italian Bible" on etceterinis. It is listed there under the Turolla marque heading.

Congratulations to Hiawatha ! To be honest to Saco, I wonder if Morelli is a well-known carrozzeria as mentioned by you earlier.... so I focussed on Vignale, Zagato etc Anyway, it's solved now and and it is a nice little car I must admit !

My compliments to Hiawatha, I haven't seen this car before, neither heard of Turolla...just for precision, I suppose this car is a Fiat 500A based.

Thank you. As far as I can tell the 1948 version had the 500 engine, the 1950 version had the 750 engine.
