Chevrolet Cadet, a proposed small car line that was very seriously considered for postwar construction. In the end the project was cancelled.

You remember very correctly, as that's exactly what this is; the Chevrolet Cadet proposal for a smaller Chevy, from 1947.  Another point to you.
