I can't find a picture at present, but there was an MR2 Azuro that won 1st prize for a complete body conversion at the 13th Tokyo Auto Salon and Racing Car Show in 98

"The MR-2 Azuro looked like a Ferrari, despite claims by Azuro that the resemblance was unintentional. The goal was to give the car smooth lines and to recall Italian design elements. In addition to the body work, the turbo system was massaged to 245 horsepower, and the suspension was upgraded using Bilstein shock absorbers. Although the car was certainly deserving, it was unusual for a car with relatively little engine and suspension modifications to win the Complete car catergory, which is regarded as the grand prize at the Salon"

MR2??

This could be M2 Azuro, but I cannot find any reference about such model by M2...

I think Geology just found the car (and Arunas was correct on reading the word on the windshield). The article he quotes (and which is from a Toyota MR2 forum) dates from 1995, not 1998. I enclosed a bigger view - it is definitely Azuro.
And Arunas, as it is based on an MR2 that's why it is being referred to as an MR2 Azuro

This picture plus subscript from an article about the 1998 Tokyo Auto Salon, shows that Azuro is a name that is used multiple times.
Apparently, these cars are made by a Japanese company named Fay Corporation.
