I'm quite excited about this one, as I've never seen it before, and I don't think a pic of it appears on the web.
Straight to the pros as this car may appear shortly in a magazine - so for a point, name the designer and who it was built for.

Yes, they're Rostyle wheels and were really fashionable in the 1970s being fitted to the Ford Cortina 1600E, Sunbean Rapier H120, Jensen Interceptor - then BL got in on the act much later than everyone else as usual with the Midgets and MGBs..

Mentioning the Rapier H120 then - any connection with the puzzle car, bearing in mind a past Sunbeam connection with Touring?

I thought Chris Humberstone when I saw this for the first time, but pnegyesi has it right - it's a Michelotti design. Now, for the point, I just need the brand for whom this was designed - I think it's fair to lock for pnegyesi till his next reply.

That's the one! I'd never seen this before - and just to summarise, it's a 1970s Iranian gullwing coupe based on a Hillman and styled by an Italian. What's not to like?
