Born as an experimentation mule with the purpose of testing new technologies like the new air-liquid intercooler, it was the first diesel road vehicle to exceed 200 Km/h. Sirio is its nickname. The vehicle saw a successful small run in the United States, with nine cars produced. Some exemplars were equipped with the Lancia Gamm engine (2500cc) and called BT 424.
