I wonder what's hidden under those strange rear wheels...external drum brakes?

To my best knowledge it´s been a hybrid car, built most likely after Lohner patents.

So it´s covers for electric motors in the rear whel hubs, that were driven by a petrol engine in the front of the car, that drove a generator.

It is quite likely, that Siemens may have provided some vital electric components for this vehicle.

But Siemens is not the company I´m looking for, here.
