Solved TGF-291: Arturo Sordi "unpuncturable wheels"
« on: November 25, 2013, 08:54:49 AM »
The man you see, at the steering-wheel of this car, is the inventor of this particular kind of wheels.  I'd like to know his name and what those wheels were said to be;  a special mention, but no extra point, for who can identify the car.

Wow, That's right. Locked for you to add what these wheels were said to be (not their name, their quality) and to earn a very well deserved point.

The scan below is from an encyclopaedia that was published in Argentina many years ago. It says they were invented to solve the problem of high cost and frequent punctures of rubber tyres, presented as "A great novelty for motoring" but without success.

Impressing! I just had a picture with a caption that says these wheels were said to be unpuncturable. A very well deserved point.
I suppose the car is a Fiat 24hp, but I'm not sure.
