No, not really

Is #11 German?

I don't think so: I'll verify when I get home (I had to go to the office today).

I was only thinking yesterday it was time to kick-start this one again otherwise we'll never get those points for the ones already solved..

At risk of repeating some questions perhaps let's try:

Is #3 French?
Is #12 a Mercedes-Benz?
Is #17 an Abarth?

Is #3 French? - non. Perhaps, soon it will dawn on you that it was built far from there

Is #12 a Mercedes-Benz?  - nicht.

Is #17 an Abarth? - no. You're getting far off the beam on this one. Though it was constructed in Italy, it's wasn't built for an Italian brand.

So #3 is Japanese?

#12 looks like some kind of expensive sporty job from the 1930's, so let's see if it's French to start with?

Is #17 built for a French make then?

Was #19 built by an Italian carrozzeria?

#3 Toyota Corolla?

No. Guess #25, way back when, included part of the answer. And the last clue wasn't cryptic, it was lyrical, and Google-able.   8)

#12 British?

No

#17 built by a major Italian carrozzeria?

Yes

#19 Pininfarina?

No

OK.  Is #3 the Nissan Sunny then? (Reply#25 asked if it was a 1981 Plymouth Reliant; can't see the Japanese connection there!)

Is #12 Italian?

#17 Bertone?

#19 Ghia?
