LOCKED for you!

This is the first part of its name.

Combine it with the word for what this really is and you´ll have it!

Just change the last word - the sense of its name now is perfectly right, but you don´t call cars only "Wagen" in Germany...

YES!

It is the "Krisenauto" (= car for the crisis), that has been presented at the 1921 Berlin car exhibition.

I´d really like to know more about it...

I think it was driven electrically and the energy came from those batteries in the rear of the car.

Who knows more?

In two different sources it is called just the "Krisenauto"...

Yes, I´ve mentioned it before... ;D

And this is so far the only source you would have been able to be found in the whole internet ;).

Now I know where I have seen it before! It appears in Walter Zeichner's "Kleinwagen International" as a "cyclecar of French construction"!  ???

Well, I´ve found the other three photos at a dutch website.

They only knew, that those photos were taken at the 1921 Berlin car exhibition.

I brought both together.

But now we have still a new track  :P

Yes I saw there too but there was no name.
There is also a pic in a '31 magazine (that I can't upload, it seems!).

So we can conclude that it is not a German, but a French car. That would comply with the French number plates in the background.

BTW, there is a nice typo in Paul's magazine snippet. I doubt that our Krisenauto would have seated 6 persons.  :D

Why not? Not all together, but after 3 rides with a pair of passengers it falls apart.
