This is a 1956 Buick Century Built for Bill Mitchell of General Motors.
It's name was "1956X" and it had a number of specific/special features.

This photo was taken August 20, 1956.  Apparently, the car still exists at Reynolds Buick in California.

In my, humble, opinion, the 1956 Buicks were by far the best looking of the postwar cars.
I liked the 1938 models best in the prewar range.
