Zotye Nomad from Sri Lanka.  May be related to Daihatsu Terios, Perodua Nautica from Malaysia, and Toyota Rush

Premier Rio, "built" in India, powered by Peugeot diesel.  Rebadged Chinese Zotye Nomad, assembled in India from Chinese parts.  The Rio/Nomad is an inferior copy of the Diahatsu Terios.

Other names applied to this SUV:

Zotye 2008
Zotye 5008
Huali Dario
Zotye Hunter
Zotye RX6400
Luis 4U (electric for European markets)

I will not go as far as to say it has nothing to do with it, but the answers are incorrect. However there is an Indian influence.

Premier RiO from India?
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Related to India, as said, but not an Indian manufacturer.

Made in Bangladesh?

And FWIW the Zotye Nomad is not a "copy" of the Terios. It is the Terios - the original equipment was bought by Zotye

You are closer then most. At least you tried a country near India. It is a different country near India. Near China too. Done with giving clues for now :)

How about......

United Motors Lanka Plc, Sri Lanka.
Nomad SUV that was to be or maybe is being built on license from the Zotye firm of China.

Whatever this car is, it sure has a history.
Originally from India, a Premier Rio as I read it and assembled in several other countries under license and under different names.  China and Pakistan at least as well as the "maybe" Sri Lanka connection.
Cheers
