Moskvich?

It's certainly not an official Moscvich, although what it's based on I'm not sure..

Just a wild shot in the dark, it looks like it could be a custom Volga.

Might be, but it does have a name which I need!

Yes, this is perhaps more likely.

Headlights look like VAZ 2108/09 ones. Wheelbase seems longer than the usual one for Lada cars, though.

I'm sure it's a Bitsa, but as I said before I don't know what car it's based on, just its name..

by Made Project?

It's not a name I recognise nor the name I'm looking for, so I don't think so, no.

From Kirov region, Russia..
Four-wheel drive (!) car..
The car is completely homemade, in my opinion is called "Надежда-2"?

dzima1985

This is the second car which was built by this family, the first was called "Надежда-1" (I don't have photos).

So, you've found it!  Well done - and this is a 2-pointer being in the Black Hole.
But, what does "Надежда" mean please?  I can't do anything with this until you translate that into English..

Rus. "Надежда" translated into "Hope" , (below the name of my image)
Second variant -  "Надежда" - it's a Russian name (Nadezhda)

OK.  I found the image on a Russian site and my computer (set to auto-translate) actually called it "Dream-2", which would seem to be wrong although is probably a better name for a car!

Could that word also mean 'dream' in the sense of being somebody's Dream Car?  Hope seems a bit negative for a car name!

I'll call it Hope 2 for the purposes of moving this to Solved but perhaps we should rename it?!

Let's call this car "Nadezhda-2" (female name, may be it's a builder's wife.., second wife :D)

OK, done.
So "Надежда-1" means "Hope-1" but "Надежда-2" means "Nadezhda-2"?
Forgive me if I'm a little confused...

Or does "Надежда" mean "Hope", which is also a woman's name (as it is in English too) spelt and pronounced in English "Nadezhda"?
