The ca. 1921 Dort from Flint/USA had a very similar whole in is chassis frame under the driver“s door:

It's a 1917 Gray-Dort Fleur-de-lys Cloverleaf Roadster.

Well, I“ve found out about the cnadian Gray-Dort just some minutes ago - too late, I suppose.

It“s almost the very same car.
