This is a different kind of puzzle for me.  I'm including two pictures of a car, about which I do not have a lot of information.

One easy point is available for telling me the year, make, and model of the car this convertible was based upon.

I will award a second point if you can tell/show who built it ( I do not know this information ).

Well the base appears to be a 1959 Cadillac Series 6200 (6267) convertible, that has new (altered) rear end treatment resulting in the removal of the distinctive '59 fins.  At this point I have no idea of the creator, but, if I am correct so far, I'll dig a little deeper.

It is a 1959 Cadillac, but it is not based on a Series 6200 (6267) convertible.  The customizer did not modify the wheelbase of the base car.

Well, if it's a '59 Caddy, with a standard wheelbase, it must be a: 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Sedan, as it was the only model that year that had a different wheelbase.

4popoid gets the point for describing the unexpected base car.

Any ideas on who created this beast?

Up!

Do the experts have any idea about who created this car?  I certainly don't.  This car may be headed for a dark place.

Being Dutch I might be able to help  :). The Dutch license plate register states that the car is indeed a Cadillac Fleetwood Convertible but year of first registration is 1960. The  owner is Andre Dortangs from Amstenrade in The Netherlands, he owns several modified Cadillacs and he did the modifications himself according to an article of the Dutch Cadillac Club, including the puzzle car. According to the club the puzzle car is from '59. Unfortunately couldn't find another pic from the car.
