Is it a modified Mini in order to fit for the tallest man in the world?

Could it be the car of George Gracle, once the tallest man in the UK?
Cheers

Well, he wasnīt not really the Pope, but the name of the man who
was responsible for that conversion also start with the letter "P"...

Is it more than just height?  Does the driver have difficulty bending himself into a car?

I think then conversion had three possible reasons:

- he IS tall
- he wanted better general visibility
- improved access to the car.

But it will not help you to find the solution.

Maybe this might help:

There is a youtube clip featuring this car... ;)

Perhaps too generous with the clue... ;)

Here it is, designed by Dr Eric Puddy of Norfolk in 1962, for an upright driving position and easy access.

"No slipped discs, no vertebral neuralgia, and a smashing view", he says.
