For one point: Identify those mammals, the car, and where and when this picture was taken.

Only a correct, complete and specific answer will earn a point; tag-on's to other guesses will not. So, be specific and complete!

Let's make a start:  The mammal on the car roof is either Felis catus or Felis silvestris catus depending on which zoological naming convention you follow.   ;D

As I haven't a clue about the rest of the answer  :sigh: please do not lock it for me.

Well, it's obviously a 1964 Chrysler 300 convertible and appears to be advertising some 1960's "boy band" . . . Although I was around and of age to listen to that type of music I don't recognize either of the gents. The sticker or whatever it is on the side of the Chrysler looks like it shows a bigger group than just the two of 'em . . . can you tell us (if it even was a band) if there were more members than just these two?

.....and did the cat play an instrument?

They are musicians, from the group pictured on the door.

LOL . . . on a whim I googled "chrysler cat musicians" - and there it was!

From the photo caption: "Keith Hackney and Jack Starkey with Lucky the cat and the Four Dimensions’ Chrysler 300, April 1966".  The group was from Las Cruces, New Mexico so based on the appearance of the background building that's where I'll guess the photo was taken. Can't say I ever heard of the group, though . . . or the cat!

That's pretty much it - well solved.
