For one point: What is this thing, and who built it?

Only a correct, complete and specific answer will earn a point; tag-on's to other guesses will not. So, be specific and complete!

I cannot match this photo, but it has certain ID characteristics of the Canadian Sicard Snow Blower.

Sometimes you just get lucky.

I was looking at FWD as a possible solution and another view of what looked like your Big Rig just popped up and was close enough to investigate.

It would seem this is a Winther or Winther-Marwin snow blower built in Wisconsin sometime between 1920 and 1927 from what I could find.

Rather a rare bird I would suspect, I had never heard of the marque before.
