You've got the car all right, but I have a different builder's name.
I'll check further into it tomorrow to see who is right but perhaps you can do the same.
Also I have the name as the ***********-Peyote (don't count the number of stars!)
Can you complete the missing word?

Full name is a Triumph-Peyote MkII Special?

Quote : "William Aldrich-Ames of Minneapolis, Minnesota purchased a crashed 1957 Triumph TR3 and repaired it to the appropriate specifications for the SCCA E-Production category. The car did well, but was never a serious contender for victory. To make the vehicle more competitive, Ames removed the body and began working on lowering the cars center of gravity. The frame was modified and the engine lowered. The body was replaced with an aluminum body from scraps Ames had found at the junkyard. The result of this work was dubbed the Peyote Special."

Yes it is.
The original Special was built in 1959 on that crashed 1957 car, but I'm not sure when the revised Mk II was completed; not long after, I believe.
