Well I don't think that this answer is correct, but I'm getting desperate, and it is Belgian, does have six letters and is in the first half of the alphabet.  I know this firm only started in the 70's, but it specializes in rebuilding classic and vintage cars.  So I'll try: Jolley.

That's correct!
Carrosserie V. & L. Colson (later J. Colson) was situated in Liège and also built cars on Minerva and Nagant chassis.

Can you, or anyone else out there, give me an on-line reference for Colson (or for that matter Gybels)?  For all my work on this puzzle, I never ran across either name on-line (not once), and, even with the name(s), Googling turns up nothing (except a correct Gybels answer on a previous puzzle by woodinsight).

Sorry 4popold, my sources for Gybels and Colson came from my library. I don't know of any on-line source. I'm sure other members may be able to help.

I found the same pic in a book about cars from Belgium and few lines about Colson on the Beaulieu Encyclopedia.
