Three men and a car.

For one point, please respond and identify this car. Further on, tell me what made it special.

The first car in Iceland.  Imported in 1904, it is called the Thomsenbill.  Although the actual make of car may be Thomsen.  The owner of the car was Ditlev Thomsen, and "Thomsenbill" translates as "Thomsen-car".

A copy of the "Thomsen car" has been created by Sverrir Andrésson:

Further research.  The actual make of the car is "Cudell", built in 1901.  Until 1904, the Cudell was a De Dion-Bouton built under license in Germany.

Due to the poor condition of the roads and the age of the car, the "Thomsen car" broke down regularly and wasn't used much.  The car was shipped back to Denmark in 1908.

Yes, the first car on Iceland, a 1901 Cudell, built in Aachen, Germany.

The picture you posted shows a replica.
