Well it is based on a triumph spitfire (that is what the DVLA has it registered as) so I would guess a one-off or kit of some sort.

This is one of the two. This is Cawthorne Woodcrafts from UK or the first designs by Bolwell.

"triumph spitfire cawthorne + hannaford 1987 mahagoni car" was rthe text I´ve filed it under some years ago.

Now I´m sure this is your point.

So, is Bermuda its model name?

I've seen it titled as "Cawthorne Special", in a group of Triumph-based cars, this one seems to be constructed of mahogany...that's the American spelling, anyway.

The Bermuda is also the name of the next car with a body made of wooden elements and as a roadster based on the Triumph. I thought that the general name for all Cawthorne. The Bermuda was brought to Russia, and I have original author's pictures (sketches) and article of the first Cawthorne in the collection.

The collection is large so the material is hard to find. Currently showing Bermuda photo on Autoexotica 2004. I'll try to find Cawthorne package.

I'm getting a little surprised by this site. And very unpleasant surprise. I'm trying to upload a photo and see the following message:

"You already submitted this post! You might have accidently double clicked, or tried to refresh."

This is nonsense. I can not even put a post under rookie. Although what I'm rookie?

I get that one from time to time; it happens if you've submitted a post but then changed your mind and press the 'Back' arrow. Then you change your text and press 'Post' again but it won't let you.  The only thing you can do is let your post stand, go right off the site, come back on then modify your post to what you really wanted to write or adding the photo you meant to add in the first place..

Can't imagine why it won't let you post in the Rookies.  There are no blocks on your account (within the constraints of being a Rookie) so you should be able to post replies anywhere that Rookies are allowed to.

Like all Websites you're new to this one will take a little getting used to as it has its own peculiarities, but it generally works extremely well and with a couple of days practice I'm sure you'll be cruising around it!
