For one point, give the year, make, model, and coachbuilder of this lovely old car.

Nice wheels

This car is not a Packard.  I don't believe Rubay was involved.  The Leon Rubay Co. did not build the body of this car.

(Thank you for mentioning Rubay.  I had not read about them before.)

I keep thinking this is a Daniels?

The only other thing it can be is a 1922 model A Duesenberg, except the car appears to missing its brakes. If it's a type A, it should have large front drums which aren't there. Unless this is just a publicity shot, and not a running car. Is the coachwork by Millspaugh & Irish?

Locked for Craig Gillingham to find the coachbuilder.

This car is a 1922 Duesenberg Model A.  When I posted "nice wheels", I was referring to the fact the car doesn't have any brakes.  Good catch, Craig.  The car is a "roller", put together at the last minute for a car show.

Coachbuilder is not Millspaugh & Irish.

1922 Duesenberg Model A with touring car body by Brunn of Buffalo, NY. One of two cars exhibited at the New York Salon held November 27 through December 3, 1921.

The complete answer is revealed, and the point goes to Craig Gillingham.

Thanks for the point, but I didn't actually completely solve the puzzle. My next guess would have been Murphy, then Brunn.

My apologies - I did look for the lock, but didn't see it.  Guess I didn't look hard enough.
