Could it be a 1942 Alfa Romeo 6C2500 Super Sport with body by Pinin Farina?  Completed in 1946.

SACO

Yes , Alfa Romeo 6C2500 Super Sport with body by Pinin Farina !
Why " Completed in 1946 " ?

sixtee5cuda

Alfa Romeo produced 28 6C2500 SS chassis during the war.  I think Alfa Romeo built at least 6 cars on those chassis for military officials during the war.

Pinin Farina created this car for industrialist Arturo Fumagalli.  Front suspension design was licensed from Porsche.

I don't have an absolute answer, why it was finished in 1946.  Other than, they waited until the WWII was over?

Thanks !
And 1 point for you !

And a photo with the hood up.
Is that picture in reply #13 the same car, as it doesn't have the trim strip above the sills or the (indicator?) lights on the front?
