Yes, it is a Maybach W5. This earns you a lock for two more tries on the coachbuilder, as it is not Jos. Neuss.

Papler? There is a similar car in 'Distanz zur Masse' by Michael Graf Wolf Metternich (p.104), who lists the car as 1928, which would make it a W5 SG (Schnellgang). Also, Papler had the tendency not to incorporate the spare wheel in the wing line.
