Yes, the puzzle train was used on Norderney. And it is called Bückeburger, because it was built in Bückeburg (that is the mentioned hint). There weren't too many coachbuilders in Bückeburg. Find out.

Should be Karosserie Hermann Harmening from Bückeburg. Inventor of the "Clubbus".

Yes, it was built by Harmening. To complete this puzzle, give me the name this train was given (not Bückeburger), at least the one it had while used on Norderney.

I've found the name "Norderney Express Strandbahn".

Quote
(...) Die Karosserie dieser Bahn wurde ca. 1955 auf ein 1952er Käfer Chassis von der Firma Harmening / Bückeburg gesetzt. (...) die später auch als Norderney Express Strandbahn eingesetzt wurde

In 1955 the body of this train was built on a 1952 VW beetle chassis by Harmening of Bückeburg. Later it was used as the "Norderney Express Strandbahn" (beach-train)

Yes, it was called Norderney Express, and later on when used in an animal park, it was called Metelen Express. Today it is the Prototyp Express.

One point for you, Allemano. Bad luck, Oguerrerob.

Seems sometime in its life it was named "Heide-Express", too.

Another period photo of the "train" at the Brussels Expo.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia
