Having worked for SAAB for 12 years in the 1980s and 1990s, I have a passion
for FWD cars of any era.

I believe your puzzle car is a Bucciali TAV 30 with coachwork by Saoutchik
from the year 1932.  I also believe it still exists.

I understand you say Bucciali but that would have been a bit too easy...Although the car has absolutely the looks of a Bucciali, it's from a later date, so some more digging to do for you...

My, My.

Sometimes one does get too excited.  There is an almost identical car in several photos on the web.
However, your quiz car has left hand drive which I did not notice when I made my posting.

So, may I assume I and the others are now looking for some sort of Bucciali clone perhaps from a
much later era??

Edited:  It would also help if I spelled Bucciali correctly.

It's from many decades later than the original cars. And indeed it's left-hand drive but that doesn't help you a lot I think.... Happy further searching !

Wow!!  What a fascinating car and a fascinating man.

I don't know if this is enough for a solution, I am still looking for more details, but I have gotten this far.

The car was built by the Dutchman Bart de Vries (Vrijs) who is a very accomplished artist.
Completed in 1985.  I saw one mention of "Chevrolet" on a Dutch site, this may be the chassis which
Bart states dates from 1972.  The motor is stated to be an inline 8 cylinder but no makers name was given so far.

Let me know if that is sufficient or if I need to post more information.

That's the car Bill, well done, one more point for you. Quite an achievement isn't it ? There are also a couple of You Tube films of the car on the road, you should check them out !

Thank You Sir!!

I will certainly check the videos.
