And who can tell me something about this vehicle?
-
I can tell wow just wow :)
Is it European?
-
Yes, european it is.
-
I suppose it's a scale model only?
-
French?
-
Yes, it seems to be a scale model only, but it is from a well known car manufacturer.
And I´m not sure if it´s been built in original size at all.
It is not french.
-
From the UK?
-
YES!
-
British Elend, äääh... Leyland?
Somehow the style reminds me of one of those Matchbox dream cars
-
The marque was a part of BL, indeed.
-
a proposal for BLMC? (from a different competitor like Pininfarina?)
-
I do not have more information than its sheer name (Marque and designation)
So, first you´d better try to find out the manufacturer.
-
Is it based on the Landcrab? Sorry Austin 1800?
-
The marque was a part of BL, indeed.

Lanchester-Albion-Thornycroft-Crossley-Guy-Riley-Standard

-
Not one of those I can read in your posts is the right one.
-

-
Not a Rover.
-
Austin?

-
T R I U M P H, indeed!
Now I need a name...
-
In one of my books it is referred to as "XL 90". Is that the name?
-
Ehhxektly!
Well done. It is the 1967 Triumph XL 90 concept car.
There´s even been an official ad campaign featuring the XL90:
-
Ah, Ehhxekt got there before me! Well done, and impressed that your total puzzle point tally exceeds your total number of posts. I wish I knew how to do the same :D
Great ad for Triumph too, although with hindsight somewhat ironic, as we now know that the Triumph car brand ultimately had no future and died with the Acclaim in the early 1980s! A great shame.
-
Here´s the proof it´s only been a scale model:
-
Another re-post? I couldn't find it on a search...
One point if you can tell the name of this car!
If you haven't register (http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?action=regcenter;sa=register)ed yet, you need to do so in order to reply and to post your own puzzles.
