Year is probably right. From a historical point of view, it is very important to differentiate between 1948 and 1950 in Hungary. In 1948 you had a chance to possess your own car. By 1950 this chance diminished and at the end of 1950 it was made impossible. Private car ownership was limited for a few years.
By 1950 many people, who wasn't liked by the new Communist regime either went into exile or was stripped all of its assets and was sent to small rural cities to work menial tasks.

Sorry for the historical ramblings. Anyhow this picture was taken in 1948-1949. The engine is not from an Austin though. Locked for D-type until his next answer
