One of my all-time favourites and an easy rookie point. Make, model, coachbuilder and year please

Salmson 2300S Berline by Chapron c. 1955.

Correct, but it has a name. Locked for you to find out what it's called

Some sources call it a 2300 GT.

I can find no other name for this, and I found at least three sources which call the car 2300 GT by Chapron. It's not the Randonee which was the previous Salmson series, and it's not the nearly-identical-looking Hotchkiss Monceau.

I have to apologise to you, you are of course completely correct. For some reason in my head I had the name 'Monceau' which as you say is the nearly identical Hotchkiss. This car doesn't have any particular name. I'm not sure why I was so convinced otherwise, but there you are.

Again, sorry for sending you on a wild goose chase & congratulations on the point!
