OSCA is correct, and it was built by Corbetta.
But it's not an 850 and when does it date from, for the point?

That's correct. I see in that thread it is described as an 850, but I've never known PJ to be wrong:

I think the car was designed by Touring?

I only know the roadster Osca 1050 by Touring, but it dosn't look like a coupe.

No, but I think they designed both at the same time then out-sourced the building of the Coupe to Carrozzeria Corbetta.
Maybe someone more knowledgeable than I can confirm or deny that?!

Engine (and chassis) was for both Fiat 850.

One open question: does anybody know something more about that "Carrozzeria Corbetta". It's quite a mistery for me.
Sombody says it's a fiberglass motorboat maker (not a carrozzeria) ocasionally asked by Osca to do something. But no reliable information seems to be around...

I think this is the 1964 OSCA 1050S coupe by Corbetta ( never heard of them before or since.) The Spider was by Touring.

Actually it's the other way around; the spider was by Corbetta, this coupé was by Touring.
We won't split hairs though and say it's solved.

not sure I agree with you. There was another almost identical coupe produced at the same time - the 1600gt - and this was also reputedly designed by Corbetta. They were unusual because they were glassfibre bodies. The Touring spyder however was not.

I did lots of searching before posting this puzzle as I wanted a different picture from the usual one. It was very hard to find another but I did in the end... Most websites describe it as being by Touring, but there are one or two who attribute it to Corbetta, I agree. Similarly, most websites seems to attribute the Spider to Corbetta but there are few who say it's by Touring.
I just used the most common consensus, that the coupe was by Touring and the Spider by Corbetta, but I agree there are sites (incl the Touring one) which say the Spider is by Touring..
Many of the sites also claim the car dates from 1960, which is wrong.
It is the way with the Internet that once something incorrect has been posted it gets repeated by all and sundry and almost becomes fact, which has probably been the case here.
I acknowledge you're probably right, but I'll look into it more to see if I can answer the question once and for all.
